Christopher Wool – abstract painting

Christopher Wool gehört zu den wichtigsten Vertretern der abstrakten Malerei und versucht in seinen Bildern die Grenzen des Abstrakten immer neu zu erfoschen. Dabei nutzt er unterschiedliche Medien wie Malerei, Zeichnung, Fotografie und Druck. Das Museum Ludwig in Köln widmet Christopher Wool vom 21.04. – 12.07. eine Ausstellung, in der vor allem die Arbeiten zwischen 2006 und 2009 vorgestellt werden. —- Christopher Wool is one of the most important representatives of abstract painting. In his new works he uses different media such as painting, drawing, photography and printing.
